FINALLY REINFORCEMENT FROM THE Länd
Since June 2023 there is the new WILDDESIGN office in Stuttgart. With Frank Detering, we were able to win an equally experienced and competent designer and "above all" graduate engineer (production technology) to manage the location. The wish for an office in the southwest has existed for a long time - now it has finally been realized. The focus of the new team will be on Design for Manufacturing.

... three elements that are not just on Oliver's business card. For our COO, these are the three essential components of good design. Balancing these three aspects and intelligently integrating them into our design is what drives him every day.
What does a COO do at WILDDESIGN?
In order to generate and develop creativity, the organism WILDDESIGN needs a secure basis and a suitable structure. In this context, Oliver is responsible for HR, resource planning and employee development. He works closely with all branches, optimizes processes and attaches importance to team building. All in all, Oliver is the driving force for efficiency and satisfaction in the team, which makes us a high-performance partner for our clients.
Oliver has been an integral part of WILDDESIGN as creative director since 2007. During this time, he has shaped a variety of projects and developed his expertise in medical design and design strategy. He has been instrumental in shaping the growth and success of WILDDESIGN from Gelsenkirchen to Shanghai and, together with the CEO and CTO, is a driving force behind our mission: to define the next generation of medical design.

WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO NAME NAMES YET...
... but we can still be happy! In the summer, we swept the board at the most important design awards. The outstanding ergonomics of a surgical instrument convinced the jury of the IF Design Award and the red dot Design Award. Even during long operations, it lies well in the hand and ensures stress-free use.
Both at the IF ceremony in the Friedrichstadt Palast and at the red dot Designers Night in Essen, we celebrated the successes extensively.

MODOOL - INEXPENSIVE TRAINING DEVICE FOR KEYHOLE-OPS
MODOOL is the idea for a training device for aspiring surgeons. The Designsprint 21 was designed by design student Marius Kühn during his internship in Magdeburg. It is primarily used to simulate minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopies or arthroscopies. The modular design is intended to allow a wide variety of scenarios to be represented with the simplest and least expensive means possible.
