New leadership at WILDDESIGN!

After 35 years as the frontman of WILDDESIGN, I am making way for the next generation. Starting next year, Marc Ruta as the new CEO and Oliver Koszel as COO will take over the management.

The two are the dynamic duo at WILDDESIGN: highly qualified team players with decades of experience in the industry and established figures in our team. They combine experience and a forward-looking approach in equal measure and bring strength and a lot of fun with them – exactly what we need!

As a strategic consultant for WILDDESIGN and the Larsson Creative Group, I will now be working more in the background. With my large network and many friendships, I will continue to provide maximum support to our team and our projects.

The future of surgery: robotics and design

We have been working on our largest and most complex project to date for over two years: the development of a robot-assisted surgical system for an ambitious start-up. In close collaboration with all our locations and many external partner companies, we have been working on a solution that combines ergonomics, precision and cost efficiency – with the sole aim of making minimally invasive surgery more widely accessible.

Robotics will define tomorrow's surgery and in this project we learned a lot about how people should interact with robots and how we can properly convey this incredible technology.

Blood gas monitoring during extracorporeal patient care

In critical situations, every second counts: VIVE-MedTech has developed a unique system that enables real-time monitoring of oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange at the oxygenator. Our Magdeburg team was able to bring this innovative device into shape and created a design that impresses with intuitive operation and a robust appearance.

Design-Patents

Anyone who has ever developed an innovative medical device knows how important protection against imitators is. Design patents are an effective and cost-efficient way to protect the outward appearance of your product – often much easier than technical patents. COMPAMED 2024 - a dream!

For once, Medica/Compamed was a thoroughly successful trade fair experience for us! The collaboration with our partner BYTEC and our customer and partner Vive-Medtech – at the fair for the first time – went extremely well. The fact that we made over 220 contacts speaks for itself!

A big thank you to the many visitors and especially to our customers who provided us with the exhibits. Many discussions at the exhibition stand have already led to concrete results, and we have openly discussed expectations of design and the opportunities for an outstanding product. One thing is certain for us: we will be back again next year at Compamed in Düsseldorf.

But before that, Marc and Dennis are off to Dubai for Arab Health. Good luck to you both there!
